USA Sport Karate
The competition guidelines used for forms, weapons, sparring, and continuous divisions follow the USA Sport Karate framework. Standards cover ring procedures, judging criteria, scoring, safety equipment, protest procedures, and division structure so athletes from any school or system compete on equal footing. Certified officials enforce the same standards across every ring, and all divisions are run to published rule sets.

USA Sport Karate International Championship
A full-spectrum Sport Karate tournament featuring Creative and Traditional Forms, Weapons, and both point and continuous sparring. Available for ages 4 and under through 50+, across all experience levels.
Tameshigiri Cutting and Iaido Kata Championship
A refined test of precision, technique, and mental focus. Competitors showcase mastery of traditional Japanese swordsmanship through Iaido Kata performance and Tameshigiri cutting challenges.
IMAF Kokoro Breaking Championship
A competition honoring power, technique, precision, spirit, and technical execution. Open to all ages and skill levels, this event highlights both individual and team breaking divisions under strict standards.
ITF America Open Championships
Featuring ITF-specific formats, this division includes traditional tul (forms), sparring, and technical demonstrations judged to international standards.
IMAF International Olympic Style TKD Open
Olympic-style Taekwondo sparring and Poomsae, run under officially recognized competition rules with electronic scoring where applicable.
IMAF Isshinryu Championships
A premier Isshinryu karate championship open to all ages and rank levels, featuring kata, kobudo (weapons) kata, and kumite divisions judged by traditional Isshinryu standards.
Sport Kombat Light Contact, Kick Light and Point Kickboxing
A dynamic ring sport featuring Light Contact, Kick Light, and Point Kickboxing divisions. Open to all ages and experience levels, all matches are contested with certified officials and safety-focused rules.
IMAF Daytona Open Grappling Championship
Featuring Gi and No-Gi divisions, this championship welcomes competitors of all ages and experience levels. Our tournament progression rules, technical skill, and sportsmanship in a bracketed format.
U.S. Invitational and State Games
An invitation-only championship where top qualified athletes representing their state or region compete for medals across forms, weapons, and sparring divisions in a high-level, officiated setting.

IMAF Specially Gifted Divisions
Specially created divisions that celebrate the achievements of specially-gifted martial artists. A supportive, inspiring, and fully judged competition experience at the International Martial Arts Festival.
Coaches Registration
Required for all coaches attending IMAF. Registered coaches receive official credentials, mat-side access, coach briefings, and entry to the staging and warm-up areas throughout the weekend.
