IMAF follows a structured set of rules and scoring criteria to ensure fairness, consistency, and professionalism across all divisions:
- Weapons & Forms: Divisions include Traditional, Extreme, and Creative categories, each with specific judging criteria focused on technique, control, and presentation.
- Sparring Divisions: Strict point scoring, contact regulations, and penalty enforcement create a safe and competitive environment for all fighters.
- Updated Guidelines: Recent modifications introduce enhanced equipment requirements, coaching conduct regulations, and arbitration procedures to maintain the highest competition standards.
